Without doubt the best part about little children is their outlook on the world. To them the mundane and boring is new, exciting and often baffling.
The other day n°1 entered the bathroom as I was getting dressed. She does this a lot, watching mommy get dressed is awesome toddler entertaining. I’m pretty sure I could keep both children amused for hours by letting them watch me try on everything in my closet. After looking me up and down she asked:
“Mommy, why are you wearing underpants without a bottom?”
Thus I started my Saturday explaining the concept of a thong to my three year old.
I do NOT even want to go there with my kids. Had to be fun!
Oh well, let’s just say it was great practice for those other ‘talks’ yet to come.
Oh. My. I think it’s time to stop letting the toddler watch me dress/ undress. He’s nearly 2 1/2 after all. EEK.
The problem is that they can open the bathroom door…
